We believe that a better America is only possible if we work to improve the quality of life in rural America. Rural America feeds us, extracts raw materials that they then manufacture into usable goods, and is largely responsible for maintaining the transportation network between the urban centers. Right now, the politicians that are in favor of preserving our systems and the status quo are largely disconnected from the rural Americans that are the backbone of our country. By engaging rural America in all levels of politics, building systems that work for them in an indisputable way, and creating networks of mutual aid to create solidarity, we believe we can build a better future that works for all of America, not just urban America. An empowered rural America will create a better America.
